Digital wedding cards made for WhatsApp

Relatives in Kanpur, cousins in Toronto and friends from college all get the same beautiful card, the moment you send it.

Why a phone-shaped image works best

Most invitations now arrive on WhatsApp, and the format matters. A PDF shows up as a file that has to be downloaded and opened; a landscape image shrinks to a thin strip. A ShaadiCardWala card is a portrait image, 1080×1920 pixels — the same shape as the phone it’s viewed on — so it opens full screen with one tap and stays sharp.

Sending your card

  1. Finish your card in the app and unlock it for ₹51.
  2. Tap Share and choose WhatsApp — or Instagram, a link, or save it to your gallery.
  3. Add a personal line with the guest’s name.
  4. Send the venue’s Google Maps link as a separate message, so it can be tapped.

One card for each function

Guest lists change from function to function. Make a separate card for the haldi, mehendi, sangeet and wedding, and send each only to the people invited to it.

For messages, broadcast lists, elders and reminders, read our guide to WhatsApp invitation etiquette.
