Questions, answered
Everything about designing, paying for and sending your invitation cards.
What is ShaadiCardWala?
A mobile app for Android and iOS that lets you design Indian wedding invitation cards on your phone — for every function from roka and haldi to the wedding and reception — and send them on WhatsApp.
How much does a card cost?
Designing, editing and previewing are free. When a card is ready, you pay ₹51 once to download it in full quality without the preview watermark and share it. There is no subscription.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can start as a guest. You can also sign in with Google, your phone number (with an OTP) or email.
Which functions can I make invitations for?
Roka, engagement, save the date, haldi, mehendi, sangeet, cocktail, wedding and reception.
How much can I change on a template?
Quick Edit fills in the names, date, venue and city. Advanced Edit lets you move, resize and rotate anything on the card, change any text and its size and colour, add decorations such as florals, frames and borders, and add your own photos.
Can I write the card in Hindi?
Yes. Every line of text is editable, so you can type Hindi, English or any other language.
What format is the finished card?
A portrait image, 1080×1920 pixels — the shape of a phone screen. It opens full screen on WhatsApp and fits Instagram Stories.
How do I send the card?
Share it straight from the app to WhatsApp or Instagram, copy a link, or save it to your phone’s gallery.
Is my design saved automatically?
Yes. Every change saves as you make it, so you can close the app and pick up where you left off.
Can I make a video invitation?
You can build a video invitation scene by scene in the app today — set how long each scene plays and how each name and motif animates in. Downloading it as a video file is coming soon.
How do I pay?
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay, which supports UPI, cards and net banking. ShaadiCardWala never sees or stores your card details.
Is my information private?
Your designs and photos are stored securely and only you can edit your projects. See the privacy policy for exactly what we collect and why.
When is the app available?
ShaadiCardWala is launching soon on Google Play and the App Store.
