About the reception invitation
The reception is often the largest function. It may be hosted by the groom’s family after the wedding or by both families together, and it’s where colleagues and friends who couldn’t attend the rituals come to bless the couple. Because the guest list is broad, reception cards tend to be more modern and less ritual-led.
Sage Terrace is an asymmetric, left-aligned design with sage watercolour, brass lanterns and a lakeside terrace — calm and contemporary.
What to include on the card
- “Reception” or “Wedding Reception” as the heading
- The hosts — often the groom’s parents
- The newlyweds’ names
- Date and dinner time
- Venue and city
