How a video invite is put together
A video invitation in ShaadiCardWala is a short sequence of scenes. Each scene is designed exactly like a card — same backgrounds, fonts and decorations — and plays for as long as you choose before moving to the next.
Traditional Indian wedding cards open with an invocation page before the invitation itself, and the video designs follow the same order. Temple Blessings opens on a Ganesha that gently floats beside “Om Shree Ganeshay Namah”; the next scene fades in the couple’s names, and the last brings in the date, venue and a line of welcome.
What you can control
- Add, delete and drag scenes into order
- Set each scene’s length, from 0.5 to 10 seconds
- Pick an animation for any name, line or motif, with its duration and easing
- Edit every scene with the same tools as a static card
Video designs in the app
- Temple Blessings — ivory garlands, brass diyas and a Ganesha blessing scene, for traditional weddings.
- Bollywood Nights — a three-scene sangeet invite with a palace gate and decorated elephants under a pink sky.
Designing video invitations works in the app today. Downloading them as a video file to share is coming soon — until then, a static card is the way to send.
